In Guest Mode, all widget placements, timers, and notes are stored strictly inside your device's browser (LocalStorage) without server transmission. For Signed-in Users, minimal account identifiers and timeboard layout configurations are encrypted and stored in our secure cloud database solely to enable multi-device sync and shareable short URLs.

1. Information We Collect

We provide two operating modes tailored to your preferences:

Guest Mode (Unauthenticated): We collect zero personal identifying information. Board layouts, timer countdowns, and notes reside solely on your client device browser storage (LocalStorage).
Authenticated Mode (Account Sign-in): When you sign in (e.g., via OAuth provider), we store an anonymous user identifier, email address, display name, and user-configured timeboard presets to facilitate cross-device cloud synchronization.
Short URL Sharing: When you generate a shareable link, the associated layout data and a unique short identifier are saved in our database to serve the shared view to your recipients.
Automated Server Logs: Standard network logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp) may be temporarily processed by infrastructure providers (Cloudflare) for DDoS mitigation and performance routing.

2. Purpose of Information Processing

To provide, maintain, and synchronize your customized timeboards across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
To generate and deliver shareable short URL timeboards upon user request.
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and optimize performance.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Guest Data: You may wipe your local board data anytime by clearing your browser cache or site data.
Account Data: Authenticated board configurations are retained as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion request, all personal data and synchronized boards are permanently deleted.

4. Cookies & Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)

Our service may use cookies, web beacons, and related tracking technologies from third-party advertising partners such as Google AdSense to sustain free access for users worldwide.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites across the Internet.
